Procedure |
The positive terminal of the digital voltmeter is connected to Cu-CuSO4 reference electrode and the negative terminal to the pipe buried in the soil. The reference Cu-CuSO4 electrode is placed on the soil over the pipe. The potential is directly obtained on the digital voltmeter (Fig. 8: Uncoated pipes ready for p/s potential measurements are shown).
The pipe to soil potential measurements are shown in Table 1 below. |
